| Abstract | A microbacia Quiririm - Puruba, objeto de estudo, localiza-se, no município de Ubatuba- SP, entre os paralelos 23º11´47´´e 23º21´23´´ S e os meridianos 44º52´25´´ e 45º02´21´´ O (W Gr) no trópico de Capricórnio. O Rio Puruba nasce na Serra do Mar e deságua na Praia do Puruba mais especificamente no Oceano Atlântico. A bacia encontra-se em sua maior parte inserida no Parque Estadual da Serra do Mar Núcleo Picinguaba, e caracteriza-se por apresentar uma área bem preservada da Mata Atlântica. A bacia apresenta núcleos de ocupação humana em seu interior, onde hoje residem cerca de 180 famílias, que vivem principalmente da pesca e da agricultura, embora este cenário venha mudando. Este trabalho tem como objetivo realizar um mapeamento das áreas consideradas de proteção permanente, assim como das áreas resultantes passíveis de algum tipo de uso do solo, que por sua vez possa a vir gerar renda as famílias residentes sem infringir as leis que regem a área de estudo. Além do mapeamento referente ás áreas de proteção permanente e do uso do solo, pretende-se realizar um levantamento socioeconômico junto à população residente com o intuito de obter informações reais sobre as características da população. Espera-se como resultado deste trabalho obter a localização e quantificação das áreas consideradas de proteção permanente e das áreas passíveis de algum tipo de uso do solo. Estes resultados permitirão a sobreposição com o número de famílias que lá residem visando à busca da sustentabilidade, ou seja, se as áreas passíveis de uso do solo atendem as necessidades de geração de renda e subsistência das famílias que lá se encontram. Para isto serão utilizadas ferramentas como o Sensoriamento Remoto e o Sistema de Informações Geográficas os quais permitem de uma forma mais rápida e eficaz a elaboração de mapas temáticos, e a sobreposição com dados cadastrais adquiridos através de trabalho de campo, permitindo desta forma que tenhamos uma visão ampla da situação socioeconômica-ambiental da área estudada, contribuindo assim para alcançarmos um planejamento territorial mais racional e adequado. ABSTRACT: The watershed Quiririm - Puruba, object of study, located in the municipality of Ubatuba-SP, between parallels 23 º 11'47'' and 23 º 21'23'' S and meridians 44 º 52'25'' and 45 º 02'21'' The (W Gr) in the tropic of Capricorn. The Puruba River rises in the Serra do Mar Beach and empties into the Puruba more specifically in the Atlantic Ocean. The basin is mostly inserted in the Parque Estadual da Serra do Mar - Picinguaba Center, and is characterized by presenting a well-preserved area of Atlantic Forest. The basin shows nuclei of human occupation in its interior, which today is home to about 180 families, who live mainly on fishing and agriculture, although this scenario will change. This paper aims to conduct a mapping of areas considered permanent protection, as well as areas that could result from some type of land use, which in turn may come to generate income families residing without breaking laws governing the area study. Besides mapping referring to areas of permanent protection and land use, we intend to conduct a socioeconomic survey by the resident population in order to get real information about the characteristics of the population. It is expected as a result of this work to obtain the location and quantification of areas considered permanent protection and areas for any type of land use. These results will overlap with the number of families who live there in order to search for sustainability, ie, if the areas for land use meet the needs of income generation and livelihood of families that are there. To this will be used as tools for Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System which allows for a more rapid and efficient preparation of thematic maps, and overlay with registration data acquired through fieldwork, thereby allowing us to have a broad view socioeconomic and environmental situation of the study area, thus contributing to achieve a more rational territorial planning and appropriate. | |||
